Berthoud Pink & Sunset Sandstone

Our Pink and Sunset sandstone is mined in Berthoud, Colorado.  Pink shades are pale, but very pure, and Sunset hues range from peach through terra cotta with veins of yellow, purple, and salmon layered inside the stone.  Examples of both Pink and Sunset variations can be seen throughout the University of Colorado campus in Boulder. 

 

 

 

 

These stones are especially nice as veneer on buildings and fireplaces or in any landscaping project in which dramatic color accent is desired.
